Diversify poetry in schools, says Motion

A poetry review group, chaired by former poet laureate Sir Andrew Motion, has said the range of poetry offered to children is too narrow and does not take into account cultural diversity. The group has called for more support for teachers to help them develop their confidence and critical skills in teaching poetry.
