A COURSE outlining the skills needed for teachers working with children with speech difficulties is to be run in London and Bristol.

The first day of the course will be an introduction to ways of meeting the educational needs of children with speech difficulties. The second day, which can be booked separately, will look at how to how to tackle language and communication needs in the classroom.

Day one will run in London on June 13 and Bristol on September 24. Day two will run in London on July 2 and Bristol on November 19.

The charity I CAN, for children with speech and language difficulties, is running the course. It is funded by the DFES. Details from I CAN on 0870 0107088.
