Strathclyde is clearly a dirty word in some quarters of the west of Scotland. West Dunbartonshire councillors, discussing changes to devolved school management, thought the current description of delegated management of resources (DMR) “is a term synonymous with the former Strathclyde Regional Council”. Ugh.
From April 1, the authority will therefore, introduce “resource management in schools” (RMS).
This, apparently, will give schools “enhanced ownership” of the scheme.
