Outraged of Pitlochry has been at it again. Controversy reigns over the presentation by Perth and Kinross Council of a cheque and engraved rosebowl to 36 teachers who have each given at least 25 years’ service.
The local newspaper also carried a complaint by parents who have been saddled with higher instrumental tuition fees. Needless squandering of money on teachers, writes a Pitlochry resident whose parting shot is well aimed: “The amount may even have been enough to keep the public toilets in Pitlochry open, especially during the busy summer season.”
