Drama - Don’t forget your roots

Drama is used to illustrate the atrocities of the slave trade in a new resource from the National Trust for Scotland.

It demonstrates how drama can contribute to A Curriculum for Excellence, and provides specific support for learning outcomes and experiences. There are drama workshop suggestions for children from the age of 10, incorporating stories linked to National Trust properties.

The resource is based on a drama project involving David Livingstone Memorial School in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire, and Shawlands Primary and Pollokshaws Boys’ Brigade in Glasgow.
