London primary schools should consider downloading free instrumental lessons in the autumn term. The London Grid for Learning has joined forces with Gigajam, providers of musical tuition software, to develop a scheme for primary pupils to learn keyboards and drums. The lessons will be available as whole-class activities on interactive whiteboards or for children to work on independently. Participants can watch “how-to” videos and play along with backing tracks.
