British Student Film Festival

Once again, the British Student Film Festival is looking for the country’s best young cinematic talent. Screenings will take place in London, Liverpool, Newcastle and Bristol, and every film that fulfils the terms and conditions will be screened. Competitors must be enrolled at a British educational institution - school, college or university - and films must be under five minutes long.

The submission deadline is 31 January and awards include Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay and Best Animation. The festival begins in April 2012 and on the judging panel this year will be Jonathan Amos (editor, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), Rankin (director, Perfect), Kristen Cavendish (directorproducer, Scooterman) and Seanine Joyce (orchestrator, Elizabeth: The Golden Age).
