Top card designs

For a DT project that pupils can take home and enjoy playing over and over, TES DT adviser Spencer_DT has created a Top Trumps scheme of work.

What is it?

A project book and a PowerPoint presentation that lead pupils through the development process, from initial design and mood board research to problem-solving and selecting features for their cards. By the end of the project they will have created their own set of cards and a presentation box, chosen a theme appropriate for their audience, assessed different ways of constructing the cards and critically evaluated their work.

Why is it useful?

The scheme contains a fantastic pack of resources ready for classroom use. Each page of the project book offers templates and the PowerPoint includes examples of Top Trump cards, mood boards and packaging.
