Do your students love movies and TV? Are they interested in working behind - or in front of - the camera? Would they like to find out more about the industry and the hard work that goes into it?

Encourage them to unleash their creativity and take part in an anti-piracy competition launched by Film Education in conjunction with ScreenThing. Be Creative gives young people the opportunity to create an original media campaign to raise awareness among their peers about how copyright pirates are devastating the industry.

All they need to do is submit a series of two or three posters; two or three 30-second radio commercials; or a filmed or animated advert of up to 30 seconds. The contest is broken up into two age groups: 11-14 and 15-19. The deadline for entries is 20 January 2012. Winning schools get pound;5,000 and each young winner will receive the latest iPad.
