More support is needed for Welsh-speaking pupils with dyslexia, according to a new report. The Assembly’s cross-party enterprise and learning committee report says dyslexia screening is generally inconsistent, but worse in Welsh-medium education. It recommends more dyslexia training for teachers and support staff, a specialist teacher for every cluster of primary schools, and for all authorities to provide a Welsh-medium screening and support service.
