The school is part of a pound;12 million multi-campus being built by the local authority under a conventional council capital programme, and the ceremony on Tuesday allowed Ms Jamieson to underline the fact that privately built schools are not “the only game in town”. The complex will also have a secondary school and nursery, sports, library and administrative facilities.
