The expert responsible for evaluating the Assembly government’s play-based foundation phase has been appointed to the minister’s advisory group. Iram Siraj-Blatchford, professor of early childhood education at London university, joins the seven-strong panel. The other new member is Cliff Warwick, head of Trinity Fields school in Ystrad Mynach.
