New ADES supremo Bruce Robertson was keen to point out to the Scottish Parliament’s education committee last week that heads are well paid.
Giving evidence to the committee on the effectiveness of the teachers’
agreement, he was responding to concerns that the deal has made the average heidie’s life more stressful.
Robertson, the education director in Highland, argued they are so well rewarded that they are “the second highest paid people” in his service.
Who would be sitting on top of that particular tree, we wonder?
