Primary pupils will be taught how to look after their money, following the launch of a new teaching resource that aims to tackle the problem of growing personal debt.
Talk Money, Talk Solutions will teach the basics of budgeting and getting value for money through real-life scenarios. It was launched last week at St Ambrose Primary in Glasgow, by children who helped try out some of the activities.
They have learnt how to run a sandwich stall to make a profit, save money for a fun day, raise money for charity, and work out what was best value for money at a fairground.
The pack was developed by Learning and Teaching Scotland and Clydesdale Bank.
