Economist gave impoverished set of solutions

We must thank Tim Leunig for his Insight piece. After only 40 years in education management, policy and research I have clearly failed to see how easily the problem of school improvement could be solved.

Since Mr Leunig is an economist perhaps he could explain how he and his colleagues failed to prevent the financial services industry causing global economic meltdown, which means we can apparently no longer afford to pay for “the schools that our children deserve and our country needs”.
