Education Minister gives backing to the “inclusive learning network”

(Photograph) - The Education Minister marked an important week for special needs children by giving her backing to the “inclusive learning network” headed by the newly formed Equity Group which aims to bring teachers and parents of disabled youngsters together. It receives a pound;150,000 grant from the Executive. Cathy Jamieson paid a visit to Kirkhill primary in East Renfrewshire where teachers linked up with children and their parents from the six education authorities who are involved so far. She met disabled youngster Nina McDonald who is a P5 pupil at Rothesay primary.
