And now for the real story from the Educational Institute of Scotland’s executive council. A teacher from the north of Scotland let it be known he was a fervent fan of Clyde FC. Who should make his day but Phil Cairney, Glasgow PE teacher and sometime Clyde goalie who played at every senior football ground in Scotland, and once saved a Kenny Dalglish penalty kick.
