Enduring myth of the rainbow

In your feature on colour (TES Primary magazine, October 23) the spectrum is said to have seven colours - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. In your colour picture, the band between blue and violet was not indigo. Indigo is the colour of blue jeans.
