It is competition season at TES, with the launch of the Schools Challenge 2012 and the Charles Dickens and Literary Heritage competition.
Schools Challenge 2012
Teachers are invited to upload their best educational resources before 20 April for the chance to win a major cash prize for their school. Complete the entry form before 20 April to confirm which school you want your uploads credited to, then upload your resources. The school that shares the most quality resources wins.
What to upload
TES is looking for a range of educational content, from worksheets to quizzes. Resources should be original, unique, mapped to a subjecttopic, have a meaningful description, instruction and title, and contain at least one downloadable file.
The prize
A primary school and a secondary school will receive #163;4,000 each.
Charles Dickens and Literary Heritage competition
Individuals are invited to upload their best Charles Dickens andor literary heritage resource.
What to upload
Lesson plans and resources on texts by writers found in the literary heritage section of the secondary English national curriculum or GCSE and A-level specifications for English.
The prize
A Penguin clothbound box set of Major Works of Charles Dickens and a theatre break for two. The closing date is 29 February.
