Far, far away

Fall into a world of fairy tales and fantasy with the House of Fairy Tales’s events this Saturday (28 April) at Hall Place in Bexley, Kent.

What is it?

To launch the six-month residency of House of Fairy Tales at Hall Place, explorers of all ages are invited to a free day of activities, including the Mystery of the Hidden League - a story-based adventure in which children follow instructions, break codes and take part in games to send an awakened ogre back to sleep. Another attraction is the Misplaced Museum - an interactive installation and cabinet of curiosity where children can marvel at the broken toy rescue shop and create their own tale at the puppet theatre.

Why is it useful?

Through art and play, children can open their imaginations to parallel universes and fantasy worlds exploring storytelling in a unique and inspiring environment.

What else?

Entry to the activities is included in the normal admission fee to the site: adults #163;7, under-16sconcessions #163;5. Family tickets are available for #163;20. Visit www.houseoffairytales.org and www.hallplace.org.uk for more information.
