Schools in EU member states or associated countries are invited to take part in Spring Day in Europe on March 21, designed to raise awareness of European Union enlargement. Events could include discussions; a meeting with celebrities and experts involved in European matters; and debates between pupils from different countries, either directly or via the internet, or with European officials. Schools planning to organise a Spring Day in Europe event should register at the Spring Day website to summarise their event. All registered schools will receive a certificate for their efforts. At least 3,000 have already shown an interest.
