Three British Members of the European Parliament are seeking Europe-wide action to safeguard young people on school trips. Labour MEPs Robert Evans, (London North West) and Eluned Morgan, (Mid and West Wales) and Liberal Democrat Robin Teverson (Cornwall) want new regulations to monitor the standards of youth hostels, hotels used by school tour operators, campsites and swimming pools.
