The European Award for Languages (also known as the European Label) is a European Union initiative promoting language learning.

It is organised yearly by CILT, (the National Centre for Languages) and is supported by the Department for Education and Skills and members of an advisory group and judging panel which includes representatives of the Association for Language Learning, the Mary Glasgow Languages Trust, Nuffield Languages and the British Council among others.

This year the 15 winners include projects from primary, secondary and special schools, universities, LEAs and community organisations.
