Have you ever bought a piece of software from a catalogue and found it to be of no use to you or got it back to your classroom to find you hadn’t really thought about how to use it as part of the lesson? If you have, a new software evaluation service should interest you.
LT Scotland is working in partnership with a number of leading software publishers and teachers of all levels across the country to provide software evaluations and case studies on a range of curricular software.
Teachers participating in the project receive a copy of the software to keep and use with their pupils plus pound;100. Within a given time period they must produce an evaluation and case study of the software, which will be published on LT Scotland’s website at www.LTScotland.comevaluations, which is being launched at SETT 2001.
