THE LIFE, TIMES AND DEATH OF HOREMKENESI: THE BRISTOL MUMMY PROJECT Horemkenesi lived and worked as a civil servant and priest in Egypt’s Valley of the Kings nearly 3,000 years ago. This exhibition at Bristol City Museum presents the results of the work done on his unwrapped mummy by the Bristol Mummy Project and the British Museum and explains what it revealed about his life, medical history (poor teeth and aching joints), death and burial.
