Hear For All, a flagship event on deafness and hearing loss taking place during Deaf Awareness Week, on October 13-14, will be opened by the Secretary of State for culture, media and sport, Chris Smith. On the theme, New Technologies, New Opportunities, it will be held at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London N1. A fre exhibition will run alongside seminars on broadcasting, technology, audiology services (adult’s on Friday, children’s on Saturday), education (Saturday), employment and social services.
