JAMES ENSOR 1860-1949 AND DON McCULLIN: SLEEPING WITH GHOSTS

Two exhibitions at the Barbican Art Gallery, London EC2. The first features more than 140 paintings, prints, drawings and rarely seen works by Belgium’s foremost expressionist artist. The second is the first major retrospective of one of the world’s greatest photo-journalists. It features over 250 prints from major stories McCullin covered in England, Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Indonesia, and religious festivals he has visited in India over the past 10 years. PORTRAIT OF A SCHOOL

The annual Christian Schiller memorial lecture will be a presentation by the Crawley Ridge community - “a progressive school facing and overcoming the pressures of market forces”. FICTION INTERNATIONAL
