A month-long focus on education and learning was launched by the Scottish Executive this week, based on a series of events already planned by a range of organisations. These include the visit to Scotland by Harvard professor Howard Gardner (TESS last week), International Literacy Day today (Friday), Learndirect Scotland’s celebration of learning next Monday, and the SETT learning festival on September 2122.
