Exam scores may not add up

Pupils who score the same marks in their English language GCSEs this summer could receive different grades, depending on where they sit their exams. Welsh education minister Leighton Andrews has decided to break the tradition of agreeing standards with exam regulators in England and Northern Ireland in the wake of last year’s grading crisis.
