The photographer Don McCullin has created a gallery of powerful images in his travelling exhibition, Life Interrupted, which examines the impact anti-retroviral treatment has had - or not had, for reasons of cost - on people living with HIVAids in South Africa and Zambia. Many of the pictures are available on an associated CD-Rom from Christian Aid, and they act as a stimulus for discussion in secondary schools. Teachers’ notes suggest how pupils might develop their knowledge individually, in groups or as a class.
