The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority has been awarded the 2005 e-Government public-sector excellence award for its key stage 3 ICT test which allows pupils to test their skills through accessing websites, spreadsheets, web-browsers and other applications, to solve everyday problems such as researching job vacancies and setting up databases.
