Two former pupils who sued a north London school claiming it excluded them because they were black have lost their racial discrimination case.
Rinehart Appiah and Frank Wabwire, now in their early 20s, were suspended from Bishop Douglass Roman Catholic school in Finchley in 2002.
Judge Crawford Lindsay told London county court there was no evidence the school had a racist ethos and that its high levels of black exclusions was in keeping with national trends at the time.
