Visitors can check out the length of their guts and pump “blood” with a hand pump to find out how hard their heart muscles work at Body Lab, a permanent new gallery at the Exploratory Hands-on Science Centre, Bristol. The gallery reveals the human body’s entire workings including internal organs, cells and digestion, circulation and respiration, the skeleton and muscles, reproduction and genetics, senses and statistics.
