The Cassini-Huygens mission has allowed earthbound astronomy enthusiasts to enjoy close encounters with Saturn, its rings and 31 moons. The mission is set to last four years with a programme of research that should tell us much more about the planet. To harness the excitement of space exploration for the classroom, the Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council (PPARC) has teamed up with the DfES to create online resources that allow KS2+ students to share in this international collaboration. The Cassini Huygens resources are available on a free CD-Rom from PPARC or at www.pparc.ac.ukcassini Tel: 01793 442123
