North Wales schoolgirl Caroline Hulme’s love of football led to the Welsh FA relaxing its rules on mixed games. The Football Association of Wales voted to increase the age limit on girls competing in mixed teams from 12 to 14 after Caroline, who plays for Denbigh Town Juniors, sent every member a letter pleading her case after she had been excluded on her 12th birthday.
