Ages 7 to 11
Put your pupils’ inquisitive minds to work by turning them into brilliant researchers.
In their ICT class, have pupils work in pairs to carry out research on a famous person with questions they need to find the answers to.
Once sufficient data is collected, the pupils practise interviewing each other before sharing their information in front of the class.
This works well in history where pupils can interview Henry VIII and his wives. In RE, children can carry out research on a faith or an inspiring person.
Not only is it fun but it can be linked to many cross curricular activities Cindy Silvester is a supply teacher in Greater Manchester
