Janet Myers is deputy head of Worth primary school in Keighley, West Yorkshire, where she is also Year 6 class teacher. Few of the children have computers at home or books to help with homework but they are using the school’s resources to best advantage. She’s been “stunned” by their mature attitude, “completely wonderful” writing and brilliant attendance at a weekly booster class. Mrs Myers says a bumper box of Dubble bars will boost them even more.

If your class deserves a treat, email friday@tes.co.uk to tell us why, giving the name of your school and marking your message Dubble offer. For information on fair trade, go to www.dubble.co.uk.
