Until Christmas, Lin Hatton was a careers adviser at Hallmoor school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties, in Birmingham. She remembers a positive group of students who were “most aware and well-prepared” for working life. They’d bounce back from disappointment, even when burglars took their computers. Lin, who’s now a Connexions adviser for Birmingham and Solihull, wins them this week’s bumper box of Dubble chocolate bars.
