A fair-trade feast for your class

Lynne Bloomfield says her Year 2 class at Acton CE primary school near Sudbury in Suffolk really deserve our bumper box of Dubble free-trade chocolate bars. Plans for a class assembly based on their own version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream came to an abrupt halt when East Anglia was hit by heavy snow and the school had to close. That dashed any chance of staging a dress rehearsal before the big day. Then on the morning of the assembly the boy playing Oberon was taken to casualty with an infection in his hip. But into the part and saved the day. In fact, the whole cast performed brilliantly. “I am so proud of all 26 of them,” says Ms Bloomfield. If you think your class deserves a fair-trade chocolate treat, email friday@tes.co.uk to tell us why, giving the name of your school. Mark your message Dubble offer.
