A fair-trade feast for your class

Carol Sturdy, a teacher at Clare middle school, near Sudbury, in Suffolk, enlisted the help of 16 Year 8 pupils, who’ve written to Friday magazine pleading for our give-away box of Dubble bars. They’ve been learning about fair trade in PSHE lessons but are still wondering what the chocolate tastes like (well, it’s like the other stuff, only nicer). Among the 16 pink postcards there’s one from a girl who says she doesn’t even like chocolate but she wishes her friends would stop talking about it. Winning our bumper box is the only way to shut them up.

If your class deserves a treat, contact us by email or postcard to tell us why, giving the name of your school. Mark your message Dubble offer. For information and resources on fair trade, go to www.dubble.co.uk.
