A fair-trade feast for your class

English teacher Richard Lysons at Whitworth community high school near Rochdale, Lancashire, has been inspired by his Year 11 English class and their determination to help him get a PowerPoint projector for his classroom. “They’ve written umpteen letters to local firms and to famous people to get sponsorship and at last we can see light at the end of the tunnel.” Instead of a brass plaque we’re sending them a bumper box of Dubble chocolate bars saying well done and thanks. If your class deserves a treat, email friday@tes.co.uk to tell us why, giving the name of your school. Mark your message Dubble offer. For information on fair trade, go to www.dubble.co.uk.
