Lynne and Keith Rees are a husband and wife teaching in the same school: Nantyffyllon primary in Maesteg near us that both their classes deserve the bumper box of Dubble bars, and who are we to disagree? Keith’s pupils have mastered the art of “dubbling numbers” and have just demonstrated their skills in mental arithmetic in an assembly with parents. Meanwhile, after 24 years in the junior department at Nantyffyllon, this academic year Lynne moved to a Year 2 class and is loving it. The children are good and kind to each other and the parents are great.

If your class deserves a treat, email: friday@tes.co.uk to tell us why, giving the name of your school. Mark your message Dubble offer. For information on fair trade, www.dubble.co.uk.
