It has not taken long for a state-funded Muslim secondary school to actively discriminate against students and parents of the same, or different, faiths (“Let us show bias against Shias, says Muslim head”, April 2). The adjudicator almost seems surprised by the school’s actions. The truth of the matter is that this is exactly what one would expect of such schools. Faith schools of any sort are designed to discriminate. Surely we should be moving towards completely secular educational provision where religious-based bias plays no role in our society?
