As the stushie continues in North Lanarkshire over arrangements for TimProd primary campuses, staff in the authority’s first joint venture seem to be taking the new order in their stride.

The building shared by Cumbernauld and St Andrews primaries has adjacent staffrooms fitted with a moveable partition that is always kept open. Even worse, both sets of teachers use only one of the two fridge freezers and one of the two dishwashers supplied by the authority.

We have been unable to ascertain whether staff favour the denominational or the non-denominational appliances, though it would be a brave Catholic teacher who would risk incurring the wrath of the hierarchy for washing their cup in a Proddy dishwasher.
