A CHILDREN’S charity is urging the Government to develop a family sign language curriculum following a successful pilot scheme. More than 80 families took part in the 15-week course where parents, deaf children and their brothers and sisters learnt sign language together. The course was designed to teach sign language relevant to family life and included lessons on toys, pets and food and drink.
