THE amount of time spent by parents with their children has trebled in 30 years, a report by the Future Foundation says. Parents now spend up to 85 minutes a day with each chld, and by 2010 the time could have increased to 100 minutes. Two-thirds of parents help with homework, and six in 10 said that they take their children to school.
