In the week the John Lewis social media team won Twitter and everyone counted down the hours until the Line of Duty finale, Labour leader Keir Starmer visited Sandwell College and apprenticeships and skills minister Gillian Keegan defended her government’s adult education funding clawback in Parliament.

Meanwhile, with college restaurants up and running again, leaders enjoyed a taste of the finer things at Basingstoke College and staff at Hopwood Hall College celebrated its dedication to the Covid testing regime.
