“Short people don’t measure up at the top, it seems” (TES Jobs, December 3).
At 4ft 11in, I am into my fifth year of headship and, in spite of being shorter than the majority of my Year 5 and 6 pupils, am coping just fine! I wholeheartedly agreed with Kenny Frederick that, “Good leadership cannot be measured in feet and inches!”
Can anyone out there offer me a leg-up so that I reach the postbox to post this letter!
