Euro Labour MP Catherine Stihler wins the prize for going over the top this month. In a breathless press release issued to mark EU Employment Week, the Dunfermline-based politician welcomed Fife’s Adam Smith College - and its bus - to Brussels.
“The Lisbon strategy has the goal of making Europe the most dynamic knowledge-based economy in the world by 2010,” we read. “With Adam Smith College on board, we are a lot closer to achieving that target.”
