Fewer homes speak Welsh

The number of Welsh-speaking households dropped by 15 per cent between 2003-6, according to a survey from the Welsh Language Board. Chief executive Meirion Prys Jones called for more adults to pass the language on at the survey’s launch this week at the National Eisteddfod, Swansea.
